Meet Lomont Molding’s August EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, Maria Rodriguez
Maria works here at Lomont Molding as a Quality Technician. Earlier this year she celebrated her fifteenth year here at Lomont! Maria is primarily responsible for PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) testing, operating the quality team’s roamer arm for measuring parts, and calibrating various measuring equipment used around the plant.
She originally started at Lomont as a machine operator before promoting to an inspection/lead position where she then promoted to her current role of Quality Technician. Maria named our very own Kevin Knox, Lomont’s IT Director who previously headed the quality team, as someone who had a positive impact on her and contributed to the opportunities that led to her career advancement.
Outside of work Maria stays busy with her family. She is married with three children. She commutes to Lomont daily from Burlington where she has resided for the past twenty-one years since coming here from Mexico. She enjoys spending her free time reading and with her family.
She is well known for her extremely strong work ethic, attention to detail, and friendliness! Maria has proven himself to be a dedicated employee who goes above and beyond every day to ensure Lomont continues operating smoothly.
