Meet Lomont Molding’s August EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, Cindy Wixom
Cindy has been with Lomont for twenty-six years. Cindy works as our Receiving Clerk who mostly works with our Lomont IMT (In-Mold Technologies) division’s pick & pack service. She is trained throughout other areas too and will help elsewhere when needed.
Cindy has lived in Mount Pleasant, IA for the majority of her life with her husband who she has been married to for forty-five years. She is mother to two boys who have given her six grandchildren. She is not only a mother and grandmother however, as she is also a great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren.
When asked – Cindy said she has had many great experiences here at Lomont. When she started she had no computer experience but owes most of her computer proficiency now to working here at Lomont. She also had never had any experience on a forklift enjoyed learning how to operate them here at Lomont.
Outside of work, Cindy enjoys gardening and cooking. She also loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys going on motorcycle rides with her husband as they just recently bought a new motorcycle to go on longer rides together.
Cindy is known throughout the plant as one of the nicest and most positive people to work with. She is always willing to help anywhere she can to contribute to Lomont’s operations running smoothly and is never without a smile on her face! Thank you Cindy, for all you do!
