Account Manager

Position Type: Hourly / Full Time

Position Description:

The Account Manager position is critical to the success of the company as the account managers are the front facing employee with the customer. This person must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. They will be a main point of contact with the customer. The account manager is responsible not only for customer communication, but also for order entry, forecast entry, account analysis and working with the production to understand any constraints related to the customer experience.

Position Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with customers to develop and maintain relationships.

· Ability to communicate through email and via telephone with customer contact(s), as well as to all levels of leadership in the company, both positive and negative information.

· Ability to analyze & interpret customer data to drive accurate requirements for the customer and for manufacturing.

· Understand customer and business needs to provide the customer with relevant information (times, data, reports, etc.)

· Provide timely and accurate data entry of customer orders, forecasts, customer pricing, etc.

· Manage customer inventory levels through forecasting and shipping trends.

· Active team member of the business, continuously looking for process improvements to aide in servicing the customer.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Account management: 3 years (Preferred)

Education and Experience Summary:

· Previous Account Management or Customer Service Experience

· High School Diploma

Skill Requirements:

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Strong emotional intelligence, allowing for the ability to show empathy and have constructive conversation with the customer.

  • Must be able to keep an organized work area and proper filing systems for all records, orders, and other documents.
  • Must be a highly motivated individual.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must have computer experience.
  • Problem solving; know who and where to get help on solving problems.
  • Must be able to work independently.

Physical Demands:

· Sitting at a desk for long periods of time

· Working on computer and phone for 85% of the day.

Hours and Travel:

· Standard business hours: 8-5, Monday – Friday

· Overtime as needed, to include Saturdays.

General Maintenance Technician

General Maintenance Responsibilities

Summary of job duties:

Plant maintenance activities and special projects throughout the shift.  Ensure smooth and efficient production operation during the shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with daily maintenance functions to insure manufacturing is continuously operating at the highest level of efficiency.
    1. Foster company views and objectives amongst employees
    2. Responsible for machine general maintenance and preventative.
      1. Perform general maintenance to avoid possible failures and malfunctions.
      2. Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs
      3. Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them.
      4. Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
      5. Maintain complete records of maintenance activities within IQMS.
      6. Insure work area is clean and safe after all performance
  2. Help resolve maintenance issue on the floor when requested. 

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Time is to be spent focusing on PM activities and general equipment repairs.  This will include daily walk a bouts of the floor and constant interaction with all employees to help insure smooth operation and awareness.
  2. Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents.
  3. Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working conditions.
  4. Provide assistance to co-workers when needed.
  5. Attend job training and safety programs organized by Lomont.
  6. Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements
  7. Continuously look for ways to improve our maintenance program.
  8. Help foster teamwork throughout the shift and from shift to shift.
  9. Assist in production as needed or necessary.
  10. Assist with Machine startups when necessary.

Develops and improves automation processes by studying products, manufacturing methods and secondary operations. Also helps with plant maintenance and special projects throughout the shift. Ensures smooth and efficient production operation during the shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Design and fabrication of automation equipment
A. Design and build EOAT for our robotics
B. Design and build any fixtures or nests needed with automation
C. Design and build any guarding needed to enclose the cell

2. Develop automation programs and program robotics
A. Integrate any secondary equipment into the process
B. Troubleshoot any programming or equipment issues

3. Responsible for all robotic and related equipment maintenance and preventative.
A. Perform general maintenance to avoid possible failures and malfunctions.

B. Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs
C. Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them.
D. Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.

Mold Setter

Areas of Responsibility

  • Mold installation and removal  
  • Ensure all auxiliary equipment is hooked up correctly and set to the correct settings per the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Select and install end of arm tooling (EOAT) or other attachments for each operation.
  • Issue work orders for molding equipment or tools as required.
  • Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic valves and cylinders
  • Uses hand tools, measurement devices (micrometers, calipers, etc) and shop equipment to repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  • Ability to operate forklift truck equipment and overhead crane
  • Organizes, controls inventory for department specific parts
  • Improves and maintains plant equipment and tooling
  • Maintain work orders in IQMS
  • Monitor tooling and associated equipment to minimize downtime

Position Requirements

  • Physical Demands - Normal amount of sitting and standing; Ability to move around on the production floor; Ability to work at a computer workstation; Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach. Required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature. Ability to lift max. 50lbs periodically.
  • Must be able to work safely and follow safety rules

  • Qualification Requirements
  • Must have good math skills. Able to add, subtract, divide, multiply decimals and weight grams
  • Able to read; must be able to read English text, blueprints. Write, speak and understand English directions/instructions
  • Writing skills required: Must be able to communicate in writing with all levels of organization in English
  • Computer literate
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Plastic Process Technician

Job Description

The Processor is a position with high technical and mechanical aptitude.  The processor position is responsible for coordinating, performing and managing the activities of starting up plastic molding machines and molds.  This position will have strong problem-solving, trouble shooting, and communication skills coupled with an excellent work-ethic.  This position continuously monitors conditions on the production floor to ensure a safe work environment and best practices are implemented in order to ensure the highest level of quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Process mold presses to ensure cycle time standard, quality standard and job packet specs are correct thru the completion all setup, teardown and changeover practices.
  • Communicate in a team environment with production associates and other related departments. (Toolroom, Changeover, Maintenance, Material Handling, Engineering) to ensure highest levels of quality and efficiency are met.
  • Monitor production schedule in order to manage tool and material changes to prepare for upcoming runs
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve issues with tools, machines, prints, schedules, etc. to drive set-up, cycle time and material reductions.
  • Communicate with the Scheduling Department as needed to review changes and other suggestions for optimal run conditions.
  • Inspect machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure desired operational performance and safety.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization on and around the production floor.
  • Ensure that all checklists and paperwork are complete with each new startup.
  • Other tasks assigned by management
