Maintenance/Robotics Tech
Develops and improves automation processes by studying products, manufacturing methods and secondary operations. Also helps with plant maintenance and special projects throughout the shift. Ensures smooth and efficient production operation during the shift.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Design and fabrication of automation equipment
A. Design and build EOAT for our robotics
B. Design and build any fixtures or nests needed with automation
C. Design and build any guarding needed to enclose the cell
2. Develop automation programs and program robotics
A. Integrate any secondary equipment into the process
B. Troubleshoot any programming or equipment issues
3. Responsible for all robotic and related equipment maintenance and preventative.
A. Perform general maintenance to avoid possible failures and malfunctions.
B. Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs
C. Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them.
D. Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
E. Maintain complete records of maintenance activities within IQMS.
F. Insure work area is clean and safe after all performance.
4. Help resolve maintenance issues on the floor when requested.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Time is to be spent focusing on PM activities and general equipment repairs. This will include daily walk a bouts of the floor and constant interaction with all employees to help insure smooth operation and awareness.
- Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents.
- Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working conditions.
- Provide assistance to co-workers when needed.
- Attend job training and safety programs organized by Lomont.
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements
- Continuously look for ways to improve our maintenance program.
- Help foster teamwork throughout the shift and from shift to shift.
- Assist in production as needed or necessary.
- Assist with Machine startups when necessary.

Mold Setter
Areas of Responsibility
- Mold installation and removal
- Ensure all auxiliary equipment is hooked up correctly and set to the correct settings per the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Select and install end of arm tooling (EOAT) or other attachments for each operation.
- Issue work orders for molding equipment or tools as required.
- Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic valves and cylinders
- Uses hand tools, measurement devices (micrometers, calipers, etc) and shop equipment to repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Ability to operate forklift truck equipment and overhead crane
- Organizes, controls inventory for department specific parts
- Improves and maintains plant equipment and tooling
- Maintain work orders in IQMS
- Monitor tooling and associated equipment to minimize downtime
Position Requirements
- Physical Demands - Normal amount of sitting and standing; Ability to move around on the production floor; Ability to work at a computer workstation; Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach. Required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature. Ability to lift max. 50lbs periodically.

- Must be able to follow all company and department procedures and directives
- Individuals are required to foster good housekeeping and team building skills daily

Organization Relationship
Reports directly to Moldsetter Supervisor
- Qualification Requirements
- Must have good math skills. Able to add, subtract, divide, multiply decimals and weight grams
- Able to read; must be able to read English text, blueprints. Write, speak and understand English directions/instructions
- Writing skills required: Must be able to communicate in writing with all levels of organization in English
- Computer literate
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
